VPN as a transparent bridge

Site A - SW TZ500 - FW SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.4.9-93n
Site B - NSA220 FW ??
Can I setup up a Site-to-Site VPN in transparent bridge
- NOT the SW itself in bridge mode, just the VPN
As in site A with IP subnet of 172.16.0.0/16
site B also with subnet 172.16.0.0/16
need a SW transparent VPN between the 2 sites

@Kevin_Verbeek no that is not possible. If you really need this, look into Mikrotik and run a EoIP (Ethernet-over-IP) Tunnel behind your SonicWalls.

Thanks for the quick answer.
you can create nat to nat into the vpn tunnel interface
Or you can do DHCP over VPN and get Site B equipment to have Site A addressing. Site B will have temporary local addressing if the VPN ever goes down.
We are using 172.16.0.0/16 for our current subnet with static IPs at the PCs and all the servers/services are at 1 site. The NAT to NAT over VPN should work.
I'll trial it out to ensue it will work for us.
SonicWALL should really have an option for Transparent Bridge for the VPN.
Have a good day.
