This is unfortunate as SSL-VPN is not an option for us. What about using something like security/ipsec-tools (from ports collection of FreeBSD), would that work? Is there any recommended method of connecting to an IPSEC-VPN from OSX? What is SonicWALL's solution to this? Thanks.

Fyi, there is no GVC package for MAC. You can use SonicWALL Mobile connect for your MAC system.

Mobile Connect doesn't support IP-SEC VPN. If you have SSL-VPN license, you have to enable SSL-VPN service for Mac pc's
