Upgrade SonicOS Firmware NSa Ha-Cluster active/passive
Hi there,
I wanted to update the firmware of a HA-Cluster.
For Faliback I was thinking about powering off the secondary unit and just upgrade the primary unit.
Why? Just in case something goes wrong with the upgrade I can easily power off the upgraded primary unit and power on the secondary unit which is not upgraded and has last good running firmware+config on it.
If we decide to stay on the old firmware: how would be the way? factory default the primary and just conncet it to the secondary?
If everything is fine with the new firmware on the primary unit: I just power on the secondary unit and because its in a HA-Cluster it will be automatically upgraded to the new firmware, too? Right?

Hi @Chojin ,
Cluster mode firmware upgrade is same as standalone topolgy. only connect via virtual ip MANAGEMENT GUI and upload firmware an than sonicwall copy each other.
