NSM VPN Tunnels Disconnected

Some days when I log into NSM the VPN tunnels are down. Some days they are up. When they are down what do I need to do to get them back up? This is driving me crazy.

@MABRick If what you are referring to is when the firewall shows offline, I have this standard operating procedure.

SOP SonicWall NSM Fix Offline and Unmanaged Firewalls

When you log on to NSM and the client’s firewall shows both Offline and Unmanaged, do the following:

Log on to the firewall that’s not reporting.

For Gen 6.5 devices, change the word “main” in the URL to “diag” to enter the diagnostics page.

Click on the button to get to the Internal Settings.

    Issue a find for “Zero”.

Click the Restart Zero Touch Task button.

Log out of the firewall diagnostics page.

On the NSM firewall page, click the Refresh button to see if the status has changed to Online and Managed.

If it has not, open a Support Case with SonicWall.

    I hope that helps!

The firewalls show online and managed. The problem is the GMS VPN Tunnel that is automatically created.

Notice the red dot on the VPN Tunnel? When this is red, the flows stop coming into NSM
