Password is now unknown

I attempted to change the password by using the MacOS Suggested Passwords. Unfortunately it does not appear that the MacOS saved the password, or that it is named something else.

I have the TZ300. I want to just reset the whole system back to factory settings. I tried holding in the reset button beside the power connector for 10 seconds. It did not reset the password.

I do not have just a keyboard and monitor to connect to the device and continually press the tab key. I only have a MacOS computer.

  • Hello @JodyBevan,

Could you please hold the reset button for at least 60 seconds? You should see the test/wrench light on the firewall turn into amber color and then continuously blinking, once you see that the device goes into the safe mode. You can then access it using the default IP 192.168.168.168 on X0.

    Thanks!
