PMTU never ends to the target set

Hello Community, need some directions to understand why the PMTU tool available in the diagnostic of a SonicWall firewall once sets to 8.8.8.8 o 1.1.1.1 as a target never reach the goal and stop prematurely.

Interestingly I have the same results in PMTU and Traceroute to 8.8.8.8, though from an internal PC a trace route completes. TZ570 on 7.0.1-1456.
