Restrict users when network running on Secondary link.

Hello

I have 2 WAN link in my network and network is running on Basic Failover mechanism. My primary link is 100 Mbps and secondary link is having 20 Mbps link. When primary goes down and networks running on secondary link I want only few users can access the internet. Can you please guide me to do for the same.

  • Hi @TEJASSHENAI,

Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.

You can achieve this by enforcing only primary WAN in Failover and LB. Then create a static route based on the IP address of the users to force Internet for these users via secondary WAN. You may need to add probing on the static route to kick the route ON during a failover.
