Technically speaking, analyzer should work with NSA 2700. Since there is no change in the syslog parameters and flow on Gen 7. When considering Analyzer, it is End of Life and End of Support too. End of life products are not supported when you come across certain technical issues. SonicWall Analytics would be a better choice for reporting purpose as it serves the same purpose with different layout and structure of Analyzer. This is just my view.
We have not been able to get our NSA 3700 to work with On Prem Analytics (the replacement for Sonicwall Analyzer) but SonicOS7.x does appear to be supported. Investigating with Sonicwall support just now- will update if we get a resolution.
