Mobile broadband connection on NSA 2700 for Internet failover
Hi,
I have an NSA 2700 that i would like to use a broadband modem for failover Internet connection. When I look at the article that tells which devices are supported (https://community.sonicwall.com/technology-and-support/home/leaving?allowTrusted=1&target=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sonicwall.com%2Fsupport%2Fknowledge-base%2Fwhat-wireless-cards-and-usb-broadband-modems-are-supported-on-firewalls-and-access-points%2F170505473051240%2F) it lists devices that are very old and in most cases, are not even available anymore. Can anyone tell me if they have used a usb modem on the NSA 2700 for failover connectivity, and which device did you use? Thank you in advance for any help.

I've only ever used the Pantech UML290, but that was a few years ago now and it has been taken out of service.
Thank you TKWITS. That's the problem I'm running into. The Sonicwall documentation is dated May 2021 (2 months ago), but the devices listed are 5-6 years old. When i spoke to SW tech support, they said the list was as current as they had. I am very disappointed (and concerned) about the lack of knowledge SW has on this subject, as it seems this is being implemented almost regularly with other vendors, right out of the box (Cradlepoint come to mind). I don't really want to purchase a discontinued broadband device, as it will NOT be supported by the cellular vendor. If you think of anything else please advise. Thank you again.
Hi @westtechllc
I used Huawei E8372 E8372h-320 4G LTE USB Modem. (up to DL 150 Mbps/s/UL:50 Mbps).
