Changing subnets on x0 interface

Good afternoon everyone,
Planning on expanding a management network for a customer. Would change to a /23 instead of /24. We would need to make this change on their NSA firewalls. They do run HA. Would failover occur during this change or how would that work? I would assume they would have no failover since the management IP is changing? Anything else I should be worried about since it's HA? Thank you!

Hi @CBACK85,
Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.
Technically there shouldn't be any HA failover for adjusting the subnet mask on existing subnets. May I know which interface is gonna get adjusted for the subnet mask on SonicWall from /24 to /23?
Please cross verify that you have access to the SonicWall while doing this change from a computer that has IP address that is part of both the subnet masks. Perform the change only on the active unit and standby unit would get updated automatically via HA link.
Hope this info helps. Let me know how it goes.
