How to change the IP address for the last resort route in Nsa2650? The Default Route Policies

Model: Nsa2650

Firmware: SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.4.7-83n

Background: The Sonicwall (Model: Nsa2650) contains 3 x WAN Interfaces, there are X1, X3 & X6, we find the Default route of last resort is pointing to the IP For example: 118.140.89.X which is the X1 interface. Please refer to the below screen dump for the setting.


Request: Is it possible to change the Default route to X6 Public IP address instead? Please advise. Thank you.

    Hello @AndyLam,

    Welcome to the SonicWall community.

    That default route is set as per the primary WAN connection. Could you please check under MANAGE | Network | Failover and LB section.

    If you want X6 WAN to be used, make sure that X6 is on top in the default LB Group.
