SonicWall CDP 3440 upgrade drive

zaidmdzaidmd Newbie ✭

Hi

I have an old SonicWall CDP 3440 that I use. However, the drive capacity of the device is limited to 400GB and it is configured with 2 drives in RAID 1. One of the drives has now degraded and I swapped it for a new 2TB drive and SonicWall rebuilt the array. However, the 2TB drive is limited to 400GB after rebuild and I would like to know if it is possible to have two 2TB drives and then increase the drive capacity. I found some documents that said it was technically possible, but I'm not sure what steps to take. Can anyone help me with a knowledge base article to carry out the steps myself?

Thank you

    Hi @zaidmd,

Unfortunately you are asking about the product is end-of-life product and does not have any support or replacement available.

Sonicwall CDP 3440i will support maximum 400GB HDD even if you install 2TB and it will support RAID1 only.
