Can't scan multiple pages from HP printer when VPN is connected

Very odd issue that I'm not finding any other answers for. A normal home wireless network, client connecting to Sonicwall SOHO at the office using GlobalVPN. When disconnected from the VPN, she can scan 1 page or multiple pages from her HP printer using HP Smart. When connected to the VPN, she can scan 1 page, but it fails when trying to scan multiple pages. Any ideas or what to research?

    Are both the user's PC and printer are communicated via the same wireless network? Is the VPN getting connected via the wireless network too? Please let me know.
