Network Won't Re-Connect

I had a device put in network quarantine due to a threat detection. It was a false positive so I told it to re-connect to the network but it is stuck at "connecting". In the past it usually comes back online within minutes but now its been trying to connect for three hours. Anybody know of a way to force a re-connect on the client side?

Hi @aschultz,
Make sure the connected network cable is working.
Make sure the connected port either in Switch or Firewall is enabled.
Check the switch are you using port-security or not. If you are using make sure your host MAC is allowed.
If you created static ARP for the host, Remove the static ARP and try.
Make sure the host is allowed to connect the network as per your Firewall ACL.
If this is windows client, flush the winsock catalog. Use the below command.
netsh winsock reset
I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the client to resolve this.
