while digging through the Swagger Specs of the SonicOS API there was a link to the SonicOS API Support Website, which points to api.sonicwall.com
Does this Website exists or is it for future references, the hostname does not resolve?

Can you point me to where you saw the reference to "api.sonicwall.com"? I believe that should be sonicos-api.sonicwall.com. I'm not aware of api.sonicwall.com.

So I guess it's an oopsy daisy.

well, finally someone who got my point :) Thanks for taking care of this, wasn't a big deal anyways.
The SonicOS API Support Website is sonicos-api.sonicwall.com which is the website we are ON. That option should not have been there at all.
Our IT team has fixed that now. That option will no longer be seen.
