GMS: Update from 8.7 (syslogs) -> 9.3 (syslog + flow) = how to enable flow reporting

Hi,


we updates from our GMS 8.7 to 9.3 and now want to activate/use the Flow reporting in addition to the syslog.

How can we do that? From the release notes we understood, that if we update from 8.7 to 9.3 both (syslog and flow) are possible.

We would be thankful if you have a description or a how to how to do this.

Our GMS is a AIO setup.

    in the SGMS -> System Setup -> Managment -> Flow Agent it shows No Flow Server Found:

    And Device Manager also tells us: No Flow Server Agent is detected in the GMS Deployment:

    Do we have to change from Console to Console -Flow Server in the UMA under Deployment:

    If yes, what will this affect? We still need to read the Syslog files and analyze them just in case we need to check something.

    Afterwards we have to change all the Sonicwall from syslog to flow?

    A pity nobody can answer :-(


    It seems you need to install a second instance of the GMS with flow enabled (as Flow Server) and integrate this one into the current AIO Instance.
