its because i dont have license for DPISSL?

Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.

The recommendation is to have DPI-SSL enabled for App Control for SSL connections to be blocked. There is an exception where the same SSL connections can be blocked using DNS signatures but the client machines should be using external DNS server address so that the DNS traffic would pass via the SonicWall and would get blocked by the SonicWall.
