Deploying Sonicwave APs-Keyset

I've submitted a support ticket but I haven't gotten an answer to this. We've been swapping out our old Sonicpoint APs with new Sonicwave 231cs. In SonicOS an open padlock appears to input manual keyset. Is this normal or are we supposed to have a key to enter there? We've added the APs to mysonicall account but I can't find anything in the guides or online detailing what else we may need to do here other than input a keyset that I cannot find anywhere. Perhaps this is normal and we don't need to do anything. Suggestions?

    @djhurt1,

    Please check under MANAGE | Access Points | Base Settings | SonicWAVE Objects.

    The status of the SonicWAVE should be showing up in green as operational. If that is the case, you are all set. If it shows not licensed, then please follow the KB I had sent earlier.

    Thank you!

  • @djhurt1,

    If the state of the Access Point is operational, then it should be okay. If it shows not licensed, you can use the instructions on this KB.

    Tahnk you!

    If it wasn't licensed, where would it show this? Under Manage-->Licenses, I don't see anything pertaining to the access points themselves. I guess what I'm asking is how do I confirm this? We received the new sonicwaves, entered them into mysonicwall with registration code/serial numbers so I'm un-aware of what else we need to do?
