FWIW: NSM won't delete archived reports

LarryLarry All-Knowing Sage ✭✭✭✭

Was testing how NSM reports compare to the CSC-MA versions of the same reports this week. NSM console is running Version 2.1.1-R7-H4

I created both the CTA and the Flow reports to go to PDF. I then ran the schedule immediately and downloaded the Archived reports (zipped for some reason).

Afterward, I tried to delete those reports and it failed.

Ticket 43607012 is now open for this problem.

    Update on April 7, 2021.

NSM is now at Version 2.2.0-R10-H1 and this failure persists.

To make matters worse, the Flow report times out and never gets generated.

Plus, it is no longer possible to download the archived reports.

    Sigh...

@Larry Report timeout will be fixed in next 10 to 15 days.

@Darshan so the cloud NSM reporting is a known issue?

I have a ticket opened for 20days but the support just told me to try manual generate. Its never working.

@Darshan - so you're saying one out of three flaws will be corrected soon.

What are the expected timelines for the others?

Because being able to generate a report is useless if said report cannot be downloaded...

So the reporting license we are paying for is useless at this point? Yay!

Is it appropriate for a LOL at this point? Asking for a friend.

New case has been opened for the inability to download archived reports.

When the archived report fails to download, sometimes the resulting list of reports comes back empty.

Clicking Refresh fails to reload the data.

New case has been opened as a child of the original

    Generating reports is still problematic.

However, the ability to download the archived versions has been restored.

As has the ability to delete.

All without a refresh to NSM 2.2.1? which seems a little late getting out of the gate.
