SMA Syslog Events Reference

BWCBWC Cybersecurity Overlord ✭✭✭

Hi,

is there a documentation for the SMA syslog events available? This would spare me the time to figure out what each c= is standing for.

    Hi @BWC,

At the moment there is no reference guide, however, it's an excellent idea that I can bring to our team. Which SMA series are you primarily working with? The 100 or 1,000 series?

    Kind Regards,

@BWC , Hi michael, are you setting up your own Syslog for the SMA100 series? if only they added it to the Analytics on prem with Syslog everyone would be happy ! as the only way to get decent reporting for the SMA100 series currently is by using GMS 9.3.

@preston yes I'am currently looking into reporting via syslog again. Maybe with some help of ELK or Grafana/Loki.

I totally abandoned GMS because the Summarizer was causing trouble all the time.

My customers just need a simple audit reporting, when a user was logged in, for how long etc.
