is the internet required for the analyzer to collect logs from the firewall?
Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.
No, not all. To collect logs from the firewall, only communication between the firewall and analyzer is required. For the analyzer to contact back-end servers to fetch licensing info, Internet access to analyzer is required.

It depends on where the Analyzer is deployed. If it is connected locally to the firewall that it is collecting the logs from like deployed on LAN, the internet is not necessary.

yup both are deployed locally
required only when I sync licensing info from this? right?
ok got it, yup both connected locally. thanks
Hi@Saravanan , @shiprasahu93
actually, when the SonicWALL executive installed the analyzer, that machine is a bypass from day one. but I don't know the reason
now I remove that machine from bypass so I just want to know that that will affect analyzer reports and all?
@SAMAJ - Is that machine a local machine excluded from Analyzer reporting previously?
There should be no issues with reporting on Analyzer.
