Most of our client base is under 80 users. But most of our clients have internet speeds in excess of 100 Mbps. How can we properly determine the best SonicWall appliance for their broadband speed needs?
A lot of it really depends on what you are going to do with it.
With the GEN6 units, you really needed to go for a TZ400 or better to be able to get reliable bandwidth over 100Mbps (fibre connected). TZ300 just didn't cut it at least on later revisions of firmware.
The new GEN7 units on the other hand have some much better performance stats, even the TZ270, but it will all come down to how much security checking you turn on.
If you turn off DPI for example, you will loose any packet payload inspection but the performance thoroughput is way better. In this way you can achieve separation if that's all you need. You might do that if you were say, VPNed via a Secure Web Gateway.
For anybody with 80 users on site I wouldn't use anything less that an TZ670 GEN7and probably even an NSA2650/NSA2700 since there are likely other things going on.

@ISDPCMAN,
You can go through this datasheet and compare but, I would suggest involving SonicWall Sales team to get their input on it.
They should be able to guide you to make the right decision.
Thanks!
