USB Port usage in firewall

Hi

I am using sonicwall TZ300W firewall which has USB port, Can i connect External HDD in this port and used as a Network Attached Storage.

Please let me know the usage options of the USB Port

Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.

The USB port on the SonicWall appliances are to utilize WWAN modems (3G/4G USB Dongles). The USB port basically detects only supported modems. The supported listed of modems can be found from below web-link. So, connecting a HDD to the USB port may be not supported.
