Hi. I am trying to setup a sonicwave 231c in standalone mode. The access point has ip and I can enter its

On one occasion I remember having ssh entered the AP and with some command that I do not remember I was able to change it. Do you know that command?

Hello @Edu,

Welcome to SonicWall community.

Once you are in Read-Only mode on GUI, SSH to the device and then enter the following command "enableRadioCfg" and then exit out of SSH. Then refresh the GUI and then you will be able to make changes.

I answer myself. I already found the solution. Running the enableRadiocfg command.

I have gotten 2 of these 231c access points from Ebay just to play around with. I am currently running 2 Sonicwall ACi access points off of my TZ270 firewall. I dont have any issues with the ACi access points, but the 231c access points are giving me fits. Said the license is expired, and wont let me set anything. I came across this article and tried to access the GUI. That doesnt come up for me. I tried to SSH into the IP and it doesnt respond to that either. I don't care about any of the licensed features of the APs, I have my TZ270 handling all of the security parts and am fully licensed. Anybody know of a way to get me into these just to activate the wireless and be able to set them up in the 270?
