Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.
If you unassign the X5 interface, any default configuration pertained to the X5 interface would be removed. Other custom or user added configuration on the SonicWall will remain as it is and manual erase is required.

Yes, you have to go in this order:
1st Nat rules (Virtual interface too)
2nd Firewall Rules (Virtual interface too)
3rd LB-Faillover If applicable (Virtual interface too)
4th DHCP if applicable (Virtual interface too)
In all cases it checks traces of IPV6 Objects
Eliminate Virtual interfaces
Delete the Zones if you want-
You can finally leave the X5 unassigned
With this I think you can do it
thanks. i want delete only X5 but nothing for subinterface x5:v17 and x5:v22.
I don't want delete all X5 and all subinterfaces
