I have similar experiences but usually I get cases escalated or otherwise moved forward after strongly demanding so. Cases seem to always start with at least two hours on a remote session with a tech where nothing really happens. Even if I provide logs and traces of a clear bug, they say that it requires "active…

Looks like the article now says it should be released today, so I can wait since unjunking seems to still work.

I'm late to the party, the sonicwall.com links don't work anymore. Dropbox still seems to work but I'd at least like to see checksums to verify before using those. Or do I have to wait until Thursday to be able to update?

Mobile Connect for Windows is EOL and might not even work in recent Windows and SMA versions: https://www.sonicwall.com/support/product-lifecycle-tables/sonicwall-mobile-connect/software/ About a year ago it still worked with firewall appliances but I couldn’t get it working with SMA anymore.

Truly unacceptable from SonicWall. Monterey has been in beta since the summer and officially released for over a month and they say just to reinstall, update firmware or contact Apple and have no awareness of the real issue? They should have had a working version from day 1. I guess they don't need Mac customers anymore.

That seems to be the move. The logs and traces weren't in the new ticket that was created although the tech promised to add them. So I added them myself and demanded escalation. Got a hotfix firmware version back now which hopefully resolves the issue of TZ670 rebooting or hanging. Gen 7 still doesn't seem to be quite…

My god the support is bad. I just wasted two hours on the phone with a support technician who played around in the UI and in the end put the case pending closed status and told just to monitor the issue. So I could have NOT called the support line and got the same exact result without wasting my evening. I had to provide…

Sounds like the SPF implementation still needs a major overhaul, even if EDNS is now somewhat or partially supported. Ideally there would be a user selectable setting on how aggressively different SPF results would affect a message to be considered spam. Like if no SPF record was found, put some more weight to it being…

I viewed my logs and checked the SPF records for sender domains, these results seem to indicate different things: Permanent Error: SPF record is too long for ES, although it's valid and does not have many includes or too many lookups. At least this is how it looks. Temporary Error: no SPF record at all, many includes,…

I've now too updated to 10.0.11 and see several "SPF Check Not Performed", "Temporary Error" and "Permanent Error". Why?

Paging @BWC

@BWC great to hear. Hopefully booting to previous firmware works without wiping in case I need to downgrade. I just added the TZ670 to GMS and I’m seeing RAM exhaustion now which causes reboots. I hope the latest firmware fixes it.
-
@Teleporter Have you updated to the latest 5030 firmware yet? Any VPN issues?
-
@JR2021 @DavidT @RyanH @ThK @BWC Have your IPsec issues gone away with the latest firmware? I have been on the sidelines looking at this disaster and I'm still on 7.0.0 on my only Gen 7 device. Safe to upgrade? This unit has a tunnel to Azure which must stay up at all times.

@BWC @Halon5 I'm also thinking about moving domains to CAS as it's much easier to manage and seems to be a bit better at catching new phishing messages. On-premise multi-tenant ES can be tricky and Microsoft keeps throttling the IPs intermittently.
