  • i wonder if this would also affect Vlan interfaces below the X0
  • Yeah i'm already opening a ticket with them , thanks for the tip though.. our reseller has already confirmed that they can reproduce this issue as wel but they are trying to find the technical cause as to where it sits to provide some help
  • Thanks all for keeping this thread going. so my update from my end, with our tz670 HA bundles i've ran into an issue with the 5050 firmware where i cannot access the standby unit on the standby monitoring ip anymore after the upgrade... anyone else wants to weigh in on this? , checked arp tables for pot. missing info there…
  • Right so here's our first experience with a TZ670 HA bundle on the new firmware which we're testing. upgraded the units about 2 hours ago to the 5050 firmware from 5030. One of my Colleagues was Qcing some config and he sat on the routing policy page as he was just looking at some entries out of the blue the Sonicwall…
  • thats funny,😂 they just want to hide the discussion , fear not its active enough on the Reddit threads😎 IDK, it caused an absolute "Censored" Storm for us during the night😡
  • why is this in the category water cooler?
  • had this issue as well and we've temporarily mitigated all the issues and we're still waiting for an official statement from sonicwall as for some reason Global.sonicwall.com dns entry disappeared of the face of the earth, this shouldn't be causing your sonicwall gen7's to lock up or get stuck in a boot loop or whatnot.…
  • sarcastic note: thats way too logical to work like that. fin. anyway yes it would be nice if it could. to be fair i've had quite a few engineers who were very helpfull and willing to go the extra mile just for the customer but its very rare because usually these people will get upgraded to other teams fairly quick as they…
  • @BWC i don't know who came up with that policy but creating a ticket for every hotfix version to me seems like a way of bumping statistics quickly, anyway not my problem i don't work for sonicwall but i will need all of the hotfixes anyway so i'm going to push for it and i'm going to refuse to open a ticket for every…
  • @BWC @Larry This email was indeed an update from sonicwall support they have attached a hotfix, i'm not sure if i'm allowed to upload it here, but i have currently asked them for all gen6 models as i only got a tz hotfix whereas i will be needed HF for nsa models as wel can anyone tell me if i'm allowed to upload the file…
  • update: Greetings from SonicWall! As per our engineers, the issue has been resolved. Please check, And update us back. looking forward from you! i haven't tested this yet so will confirm once tested i'm just passing on information i had
  • I've Logged a case with Sonicwall for this, Spoke to a first line rep from support They have mentioned that it has been communicated quite a few times in their ticketing system to the devs. Devs have replied to most cases that they are working on the issue but no ETA for a fix yet as of 21st of December 2021. will post as…
  • i've got some additional information, i can almost confirm that converting Gen6 sonicwall configuration to Gen7 using the converter is definitely something you don't want to do. it causes weird behavior in the gen7 ALL TZ devices , one of them is also Memory Issues
  • i can confirm that it has 100% to due with the secondary storage enabled, first time i saw this issue was back in december 2020 i started to experiment with it, and after turning secondary storage off there's no sign of reboots, basically what happens is that the RAM gradually builds up untill 98 or 99% and then the unit…
