Hey thanks, yeah maybe i should think about that, too. I also looked into the log analyzer on GMS but found nothing just the connection and the data-transfer. No url or api link.

hey thanks. maybe i ll try to enable flood protection once again. this will also help if sonicwall support activates it with random values and says we have in internal issue in the network if not everything works now with flood protection enabled.

You did look into the "local" log of the Sonicwall, not the GMS log, right? We usually dont work with the local log since it means to check every Sonicwall for itself thats why we bought the GMS. but maybe there is a chance to forward this via logging and syslog? but where to find it aftwerwards on the gms and would this…

ok just blocked the country we saw the tcp xmas tree attacks from and we blocked it in activated geo-ip and just in case rebootet the sonicwall. but the other day we see these attacks again from the same country in the attack report. I would have expected to see them in the geo report as blocked IPs.

@MitatOnge : Thanks for your advise. It would help a lot to know which file (its smb/fieltransfer traffic) was blocked here. And the question is how may I be able to see this in the GMS.
