changing ISP

in Mid Range Firewalls


My org is going to be switching to a new ISP and our current used IP range isn't portable so I will re-iping everything. I figure that I will need to create new address objects for all with the newly assigned range. I'm not 100% on what to do after that. I know eventually I will have to change the default route to that of the new ISP. Any advice, or pointing to some docs would be great.

    Hi @JASONMEYER,

    Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.

    If you are replacing the existing ISP on the firewall with new one, once you configured the new ISP the default routes, NAT policies, address objects for the interface IP address gets created automatically. You only need to create address objects, routes or NAT policies if you are using any different IP addresses on the new ISP range. For interface configured WAN IP, all above said configuration happens on the SonicWall by default.
