TOPT binding stops working to some users
TOPT binding stops working to some users with no apparent reason.
Also users (myself) are unable to unbind the TOPT application. If you login into the web portal, put the 6 digit number that MS Auth app gives you, then select "Unbind" it does not do anything and keeps asking for the code.
The only way I have found out to cimcurvent this is to disable 2MFA to the affected users but this is not a long term solution.
Anyone that has suffered this know the solution?
Thanks in advance,
David.

@Dsenora,
What firmware do you have on the firewall? Also, is this is a HA deployment? And has the TOTP failed to work after a HA failover?
Thanks!

Hi @shiprasahu93
It is an HA deployment, the TOTP failure and not being able to unbind the user from the Authenticator is unrelated to this set up.
The current firmware version is: SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.4.5-53n
Any ideas why this happens?
@Dsenora,
We have a reported issue where the TOTP bind fails after a failover to the HA device on Issue ID GEN6-999. But, even without a failover, if you are seeing this problem, then it would be best to upgrade the firmware to the General release 6.5.4.7-83n first and then reach out to Support if the issue still persists.
Thanks!

Another consideration is if you are enabling TOTP per-user or per-group on the Sonicwall device.
We have a new TZ470 with latest firmware with same issue, unable to Unbind TOTP code. When we click the link after logging in, we get an Undefined Error, see attached. Please fix?
