Can't see DVR behind firewalls DMZ
Hello,
I set up a DVR on our network and configured it to be on a DMZ through the x4 interface. I figured that the DMZ would just be open and devices would be able to be seen externally, but I can not connect to it.
I then attempted to do some port forwarding and that still didn't help any.
Any advice would be awesome!
I'm using a TZ300
SonicOS Enhanced 6.5.4.7-83n
Thanks,
James

Hi @JGOLL,
Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community.
Based on your description, the issue is pertained to port forwarding. Could you please let us know if you have configured the port forwarding as per format given below?
NAT Policy:
Source: Any, Translated Source: Original, Destination: Public IP, Translated Destination: Private IP of the DVR, Service: Any or Select the Service Object/Group meant for DVR, Translated Service: Original, Inbound Interface: WAN Interface, Outbound Interface: Any.
Create a WAN to DMZ to access rule:
Source: Any, Destination: Public IP, Service: Any or Select the Service Object/Group meant for DVR, Action: Allow.
This should work. Please give a shot and let us know.

Thanks Saravana,
I did not have this setup, in doing so now I went to point it to the destination of Public IP, I didn't have this as an option - do I need to manually create this as an object?
Thanks,
James
