I want to test SD-WAN feature in sonicwall firewall. There are one MPLS and one VPN connection are there between my branch office and HO.

In this scenario can we achieve load-balancing as well as dynamic path selection based on the performance criterion through each interface path.

Kindly Suggest

    Hello @Ninad94,

As of now we can either group together the WAN interfaces or the VPN tunnel interfaces (both numbered and unnumbered together).

So, to achieve this you could create a VPN across the MPLS to achieve the SD WAN using the VPN tunnel interfaces SD WAN group.

We have RFE filed (RFE# 2571) to achieve the capability of having the VPN interfaces and WAN interfaces in the same SD WAN group.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks

  • You will have to create a VPN across MPLS as well to be able to do that. At the moment it can only be tunnels in a group or WAN interfaces.
