Mac OSX15 SonicWall mobile Connect App

Am considering upgrading our operating system to Apple OSX 15.0 (Sequoia) - are there any known issues via-a-via SonicWall Mobile Connect app that is used to interface with our SonicWall?

  • Can confirm there is an issue with Connect Tunnel and Sequoia. I can't even finish the installation process on my OS15 Macbook Pro.

    We are having issues were it connects passes all the EPC checks and then disconnects immediately on MacOS 15 and 15.1 and 15.1.1

    We have TZ270 and NSA Gen 7 Firewalls at our locations. Since the upgrade all of our remote users are having considerable issues with the SonicWall Mobile Connect App. They are able to connect to the SSLVPN for a short time (Approx 10-14 minutes) then the connection is disconnected.

    We are on the most recent version of the application from the App Store (MacOS) however, we have been advised by Tech Support via ticket response that the issue. The funniest part about this is that the supported models are old models running old MacOS. So does this mean that SonicWall as an organization had decided not to keep up with the OEM? Or have they not gotten their app approved through the Apple App Store process?

    I will be closing the case, as you need to use the supported Mac models.
