Difficulty upgrading sonicwave 641 firmare
Is anyone else getting an error message "Please upgrade uboot since it is out of date for this new firmware" when trying to manually upgrade firmware on a 641c? I have tried the update on two of these AP's and got the same message. The AP's are cloud managed, however, I have been updating one or two manually when a new firmware version come out rather than through the cloud as we had problems in the past with a firmware version.

WNM Version: 4.5.1-2 resolves the issue of upgrading firmware on 600 series AP's.

I've been getting the same thing since the 30th after attempting to update through the cloud due to issues. After attempting a manual install I get the same error with no resolution yet.
It appears that the firmware released at the same time for the 200 series APs (9.2.5.0_8) has been pulled from WNM this morning. The 4 of those I managed to upgrade now show needing a firmware update which rolls them back to 9.2.4.9_6. I am guessing there is some issue with this firmware. I have created a support ticket but stopped trying to upgrade the 600 series.
Yes, mine are having the same upgrade issues. My 200 series had some issues but the FW downgrade seemed to resolve them. Bad firmware I guess.
I just got a response from support. She detailed going through the steps I had already done before as if I was unaware of how to update firmware. I repeated it for her but got the same results with "Cloud Firmware writing error" and "Please Upgrade uboot since it is out of date for the new firmware."
Great. So, I just looked at my 200 series outdoor APs and see that there is an alert: "New Version Available - upgrade devices." But I don't think I'm going to want to jump through hoops with this knowing the devices are only going to be in operation until the end of the month. I appreciate the heads-up and I'm sorry you are experiencing headaches with this.
My 200 series are currently running 9.2.4.9_6. Looks like they pulled the upgrade on those. No such luck on the 600's
