What happen when a customer exceeds their user license limit in the system?, the email is not protected for the extra inboxes?

The email is still protected for the extra inboxes. Having said that we recommend purchasing licenses based on your requirement for smooth and secure mail flow. Currently, we do not have alerts to notify admins of the user count mismatch. However, we will pass this request along to the product management team as a feature request.
