How can I send SYSLOG from SonicWall TZ470 to an Azure Server using a Tunnel Interface

I can send syslog from any device behind the SonicWall to an Azure Server over a Tunnel Interface to Azure but cannot send syslog directly from the SonicWall to the Azure server accross that same tunnel interface.
I think it is a routing issue but tried and cannot get it to work.
Any help is appreciated.

Hey @Tony
When the firewall generates the Syslog messages it uses one of its' interfaces (eg. X0, X1 etc.) Please use Packet Monitor to trace which interface is being utilized as the source and make sure this is part of the Tunnel Interface static route policy.
Mustaffa, thanks for your reply. I don't see anything being sent from syslog up to our server.
Hi @Tony
Next step would be to check the Log Level. You can set it to Debug which should generate plenty of events.
You may also want to try referencing this article. It may shed some light on what might need to be done on the firewall.
