TZ270 won't send emails from certain alerts

in Entry Level Firewalls

I have a TZ270. I get emailed alerts for things like port scans, but, for some reason, I can't get it to send emails on any user authentication events.

Here's an example of how I have the event configured.:

What am I missing? (remember, I receive emails from alerts like "port scans" and such)

    If you review the log / syslog when the failed login occurs, what is the priority of the corresponding entry? Is it 'alert' or other?

    Remember, when setting a syslog severity level, the set level is the highest level logged: any severity below the set level is logged as well, but any above is not logged

    As you can see in the graphic provided, it's set to "Alert" and shows up that way in the log.
