Hi,
somehow i cant update the GVC 4.10.7 running on the PCs with 4.10.8 it seems like i need to uninstall 4.10.7 first.
The release notes let me think i can just update:
Anyone facing the same problem?
That makes updating the GVC on our costumers PCs a bit more challenging.

Hello Chojin,
You can check the KB article attached below regarding on how to install/uninstall GVC app:
If you are unable to uninstall GVC client, you can use the GVC cleanup tool:
The best approach is to use the cleanup tool each time you want to remove the GVC for the update of the app.
Also, it would be better to uninstall it each time you want to upgrade the app.
@Chojin , you cannot update to 4.10.8 from any previous versions, it has to be uninstalled first and then installed. The "Pre-Installation Recommendations" section in the Release Notes that you are referencing is incorrect. That was brought up to our Technical Documentation Team's attention a short while ago and that section has been corrected, but it has not been made public yet. In the meantime we created a KB that explains the uninstall requirement.
KB: Upgrading Global VPN Client (GVC) to 4.10.7.1424 or 4.10.8.1108

@Chojin , the Release Notes document for GVC version 4.10.8 is updated. "Pre-Installation Recommendations" section is changed to "Pre-Installation Requirements", indicating that any existing installation has to be removed first.
