to much alerts
Hi guy's,
I have a question regarding the alerts.
I have configure our TZ 270 to send the alerts to my email address and it is working. problem is that I get more then 100 alerts per day and that is too much. I want to get alerts only for 2 or 3 things, so I did disable the email of all the alerts at Device/log/settings and left the email option enabled only for the alerts that I want but unfortunately I still get alerts per mail for the alerts that are already disabled. Do I look at this at the wrong way?

@mrshahin you need to read the logs and find out what is causing this much entries. But email isnt the best thing becuase your postbox may run full with garbage. Try this instead :

@ThK thanks for your reply, I agree, my inbox get full of the emails from the Sonicwall. But it should be away to get an alert with having your inbox get full of unnecessary emails!!?
What 'Alert Level' do you have set?
I raised the alert level to 'emergency' and then changed the priority to 'emergency' on the items I'm interested in.
