No network sign-in dialog

I'm trying to install Sonicwall Mobile Connect on my brand-new Windows 11 Pro machine. I can't get a Network sign-in dialog box. (screenshot attached). It's blank, and no way to enter anything. Proceeding gives the error message "Failed to request authentication from user."

What's happening?

    That sounds very similar to what I am facing. I wonder if it is a W11 thing. Hopefully someone who knows will comment with a solution
