Is it possible to Export a sonicwall config file by way of GMS?

    Hey @BWC thanks for the reply!


    Will this provide the equivalent of "show running-config" in Cisco IOS for example?


    I notice that the date on the "saved settings" for my devices is not the current date . (I assume these settings are only from the last time they were saved?)

    @nflnetwork291 no, it's the configuration in export format. The "show current-config" is the equivalent if you wanna see the config in plaintext (but it's importable), but I don't know if this is executable from the GMS or only via SSH on the firewall itself.

    It's part of the TSR as well if you just have HTTPS Management access to the unit.

    If the backup on the GMS is not current (which happens a lot) you have to do a manual backup task.
