2fa without a domain.

Is there a way to setup 2fa without a domain controller? We are not a microsoft site and want to impliment 2fa for vpn. I have been doing a bunch of searching but not found good answers..

    You dont need LDAP for 2FA. Local account can enable 2FA.

    Lol - so I didn't notice that the sonic wall was booted into a firmware from 2017... Updated to the latest - now the directions above make sense.. Duh.
