Does the dns sinkhole function require dns traffic to pass through the firewall perfectly?

If we use an internal DNS server, how should we configure it?

    @Jeong for Gen6 you can enforce all DNS traffic run through the DNS proxy, but be aware this counts for UDP requests only, AFAIK.

    Manage -> System Setup -> Network -> DNS Proxy

    You need to check if this has checked in Gen7, but the options there are the same.

    I would rather set up forwarding DNS requests from the DNS Server to the Firewall manually instead.
