Is there a way to avoid having to instruct users to import the RCF file manually?

Page 53 of the admin guide. You can make it part of the .msi install by including the file in the same directory as the .msi by following the instructions.

I can only seem to find the EXE. Where can I download the MSI? Or, is that only available from the hosts' management console?

If you can't find it on MySonicWall.com in downloads, you might try to extract is as in the instructions here: https://blog.techinline.com/2019/09/24/create-msi-packages-from-exe-installers/
If that doesn't work, contact your SonicWall Solutions Consultant, or put in a support ticket with SonicWall to get help finding the .msi.
Please post back here if the extractions does or does not work so that we know if it's worth trying in the future.
