NetExtender CLI Linux

ujmifujmif Newbie ✭

I am trying to run NetExtender in a script. The goal is to start NetExtender, sync some files, quit NetExtender. Unfortunately the cli commands seem to be very very basis for it. My idea was to start NetExtender from cli (I got this far), then send it to the background as a job, possibly with '&', run the backup, then quit that job effectually closing the VPN. I can't seem to implement it in a script. When I use '&' it tells me 'open lock file failed'.

Any advice on starting NetExtender in a script?
