Hi All,

I have heard from many customers that Sonicwall removed a working software(Analyzer) and brought in a incompatible software (Analytics) because the comparatively stable version was not supported on Hyper-V and it was only supported on ESXI which was not affordable for everyone.

A good news for all of us is, on April 30th, our Management and reporting team has released 2.5.2518 which supports Analytics on Hyper V.

On 2.5.2518, we support both Syslog-based and Flow Based(Ipfix -based).

To add, The IPFIX-based Analytics and Syslog-based Analytics have different licensing models.

    Hi @Poorni_5 Will GMS 9.2 + be the same? If so, when will it be released to support both flow and syslog? ESXi ?

    Hi @Halon5, as of today 9.2 can be installed only on ESXI. But 9.3 ( flow based and syslog based) can be installed on both ESXI and Hyper-V. So we need to wait for 9.3 release.
