SonicOS 7 WWAN modem support

Hi, on previous SonicOS generation (VxWorks based) you indicate a compatibility list for wireless cards and USB broadband modems supported on firewalls and access points (https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/what-wireless-cards-and-usb-broadband-modems-are-supported-on-firewalls-and-access-points/170505473051240/).

On SonicOS 7 seems the process of usb modem acquisition in quite smoothly (hot swap) and the appliance hasn't particular requirements on which device is plugged into.

May I understand correctly that on Gen7 I can use whatever modem rather than respect a strict compatibility list?

    Hello @Enzino78,

    I think the latest additions for Gen 7 appliances is also done to the highlighted KB. The top section includes the compatible modules for Gen 7 devices.
