SonicWall Mobile Connect 5.0.6 for MacOS

Hi,

I'm facing an issue connecting to VPN through Mobile Connect 5.0.6 on my Mac.

If I leave a Remote Desktop connection opened to any server, I don't face any issues and my connection to VPN remains open for hours, I guess because there is data flowing through VPN. Otherwise, if I leave my VPN connection without doing anything, and without an RDP connection to a server, my VPN disconnects after a few minutes.

    Hi @Camanni

    From your description, it looks like Idle Timeout is set on the VPN server. Is the length of time before the VPN closes consistent?

    It’s not always consistent. But what I see is that NetExtender, used by a Windows PC, does not behave the same way. There is no logout after inactivity.

    Yes, @Camanni , there are differences. The two clients integrate into the client OS in entirely different ways.

    I'd suggest you open a case so a thorough examination of the issue can be done.
