eMail Notification - no endpoint information

BWCBWC Cybersecurity Overlord ✭✭✭

Hi,

eMail Notifications are the easiest way to get noticed when some endpoint got hit by a threat.

But why is the eMail notification not mentioning which endpoint was involved? I always need to log into the Management UI first. Is there already a RFE for including endpoint information into the notifications?

One other thing, why is the notification titled as "Capture Client Device Log Error Notification" for a WebThreatProtection event: "The following location was blocked: 'sdk.dcmn.io' for this category: 'Hacking/Proxy Avoidance Systems' (Filter: 'Capture Client Web Protection Filter') ". This dcmn.io does occur quite regular in the recent days.

I had the same complaint a couple months ago and was told an RFE would be submitted.

We have noted the lack of endpoint info and will be resolving it as part of our next major release. The endpoint info should already be showing up for most other notifications but a couple like the content filtering ones are yet to be updated. Thanks for the feedback
