Outlook configuration issue

Hi All,

We are facing issue while configuring outlook 365 behind the firewall network.Below are the troubleshooting I have done.

Did packet capture but did not getting drop in firewall. We also excluded one IP from all the security services but still facing same issue.

Then we add one lan to wan rule in firewall to allow any service for one particular IP but still we are not able to configure outlook.

Then we connect single laptop directly to the ISP and after connecting to ISP outlook get configured.

Then we connect single laptop to the lan interface of firewall and then also outlook get configured successfully.

I am not able to understand where is this issue from because we are using normal non manageable switch in our lan network.

    Hi @Darshil ,

Came across a similar issue for a different customer. Try allowing the CDN links that were used by the Outlook 365 for connection in Content filter Allowed list.

    -aadcdn.msftauth.net

    -aadcdn.msauth.net

    -blobs.officehome.msocdn.com

If you are not able to connect using Outlook 365 try connecting using web browser. If the website is not loading or partially loading, right click on the webpage and select view page source. Find the Url the outlook 365 is contacting in the background and add them to the allowed list.

    Hi@Darshil ,

Please make sure you are not configured the App Rule / App control for blocking/filtering the WEBMAIL.

Navigate to --> Firewall-->App Control -- Select WEBMAIL from the App control Advanced category drop down list and verify it's not blocked.
